Debris from the Air France flight that went down on Monday was spotted late Tuesday. Scattered over a 5-kilometre area, work has begun to recover the debris.

The Air France flight, AF 447, carrying 228 people, disapperared over the Atlantic on Monday, amidst fierece storms.
