A 70-centimetre long Zander was killed by police, after it bit some six swimmers in a Swiss lake over the weekend. Two of the swimmers were brought to the hospital, with one suffering a cut 10 centimetres long. The incident which happened in Lac Majeur was said to be an unusual ones, as zanders do not often bite humans.
